coilover choice thus far

OK i'm looking to get more out of my 172 mk2 cornering wise.

I'm gonna be realistic H & R kits as good as they maybe are wwwaaayyyy to expensive at £700 plus for me unless i can get them secound hand with low mileage done on them its a no no no.

I've also been worned time and time again to stay from Gaz coilover, aparently the ride quailty is absolutly pants.

Finally the only other brand which not clear on is Fk coilovers

What do you guys think about them?????????????

Also what other brands do u guys recommend (tried & tested)

my budget i'd say is 500 maybe a touch over

Save some more and get H&R's!!! Just fitted some to my 172 and they are amazing, great build quality and the ride is like standard but ever so slighty firmer.

I've heard bad reviews about FK's being crashy so i steered away and spent that little bit extra, but boy its was worth it!!

Dont buy coilovers unless you can afford decent ones! just buy springs and maybe even shocks but not cheap coilovers. Pointless imo.
