Drop On 17s

Im getting a set of Dynamic K2s (7.0" x 17.0s"). Im goin for a drop of 35mm on a spax kit, is it wise to go lower and risk messin the body on speed humps or is 35mm low enough on 17s?

1.4 RT (1994 reg L/M), long time no talk to mike. Havent got the car yet, ordering springs, 57i & wheels on friday. Also picking up amp, & sub from colleagues at halfords. Should be getting the car on the weekend, seen a few.
