Extra insurance premium for mods

I am 35 and have just been quoted an extra £135 by my insurance company if I install an induction kit. what a laugh!

My exhaust cost me £85 for a stainless steel replacement and they have quoted me an extra £250 to lower it as well!

I am with Privilage.

The guy said "an induction kit will give you a 10% power gain and that is why the increase would be so high".

I advised him that I my car might even loose power but he was not interested.

Whilst on the phone he also tried to sell me other crap plus tried to check the mileage I drive each year so he could charge me more!!

What a set of cowboys..Hence to say I won't be using them again at renewal time!!
