'04 Clio 1.6
Apologies if this sort of thing has already been touched upon before, but I'd like your guys opinions/experience. I also apologise for any mis-used terms, Im pretty new to this Clio lark!
Im looking to switch the front bumper of my mk2 ph2 with a 2.0, however I've been told about some issues in regards to the width. A friend of mine (who had done it to his Clio previously before he sold it) explained about cutting down the new front end and fibre glassing it to fit. This idea, Im not overly keen on but has worked but he also suggested buying newer wheel arches which also widen out to compensate, in which the bumper should fit. And will also give clearance for the sport wheels Im looking to purchase as well.
What do you guys reckon though? Is it better to cut to fit or go all out and replace the wheel arches alongside the front as well?
