flat spot in 1st gear

Hi , when i pull away in 1st from a standing start the car seems to hesitate for like 1-2 seconds then it will just rocket off,is this normal or does anyone have an answer for this , or am i just talking jibberish

hmm depends if you just floor it or not. I tend to use half throttle till about 3.5k revs or so then floor it, seems to bog down a bit otherwise!

Also since ive had my cat taken off my car hunts once its warmed up ...is this normal bcos the cats been taken off and there is no lambda , thats waht a garage said anyway !

yea i think it only happens when i floor it !
Depends if ui feather it off at 2k for a normal set off or 4k for a launch, shouldnt do it on the later if u keep above it after setting off. Plus ur IK contributes to a flat spot in first i find.
