Gearbox fitting recommendations West Yorks

Hi, i am needing my broken gearbox removed from my 182 and a good used one re fitted.

What sort of ball park figure will i be looking at labour wise if i supply the new box and oil?

Also can anyone recommend me a good specialist in the West Yorks region please.

Or if there's a member on here with the knowledge and the tools to remove my old box and fit a new one preferably in Yorkshire, I will pay you good money

Can't personally recommend either as I've not used them, but a quick search for RS specialists up your way turned up RS Tuning in Leeds or DDC in Doncaster.

Not sure if they'll stretch to a gearbox change, as the search on here was only for servicing/ cambelts. Worth a shout though.

Thanks mate, I have given ddc a ring, I was going to ring round for a few quotes to see what's what. I thought there might have been some handyman on here that wanted to earn themselves a bob or two.

Does it have to be a specialist to swap a box over, or can a decent mechanic do it?
