Golf Mk4 detail (pic heavy)



  Black Gold Trophy
This came for paint correction, unfortunately I only had a day to work with it, so I had to rush a few things, one of them being taking photos!
Here goes!
The car as I received it:

Difficult to see, but this car was suffering from some major RDS due to poor cleaning technique and heavy swirling.
So I set off and snow foamed

Cleaned door shuts and hinges with APC.
These looked like they had never been cleaned

Next I removed the gutter seals and cleaned them and their respective areas

Fuel filler cap

Wheels, which had apparently never been cleaned between the spokes before

Hand washed with Britemax shampoo and megs washmit

50/50 on the door after polishing with megs #105 ultra cut

50/50 on rear quarter, after two passes with a rotary, obviously more polishing needed on both sides!

During polishing

Washed with britemax shampoo and megs super degreaser to remove polish residue, dried and waxed with megs #16 paste wax

Not bad for the time spent on it, but I would have ideally have liked to had spent more time on it. Amazing turn around none the less!
