Help!

Hi guys..

Why do i always get the bad luck?

In a bit of a pickle.

To cut a long story short, recently had a 48K service and Cambelt and aux belts changed by a specialist garage which is highly recommended in these forums. Drove back about 60 miles. Next day went over to my brothers place which is about 40 miles away and on the way there noticed my front pads have worn out as theres a loud noise when braking and loss of braking too.
Limped home.. and then realised the pads are worn completely.

Okay.. im not accusing the garage of wearing out my pads. but should it be one of the things they check when doing a service? If they had notified me i would have enough time/pad to organise to get to a garage and get it sorted. Is it safe drive around like this to a garage?

also.. placed an order on yozzasport for EBC Greenstuff pads on monday but he never got back to me. Originally had Greenstuff and HC discs put on by yozza at my 36K service last year so wanted to swap like for like

Ending up having to order from Ktec-racing late of thursday afternoon (great turnaround guys) which promptly recieved on friday morning. so now i`m ringing around the garages here to see who would fit them but no garage wants to touch me if i provide my own pads.. FFS!

I've seen the guide which looks easy enough but having jacked up my car (with the standard renault jack) and the jacking point is starting to bend which doenst instill any confidence for me working on the wheel. Dont have access to trolley jack too so by the time ive bought all the jacks and stuff, i might as well paid a garage to do it!
