I smell coolant...

After a drive in the 172 (usually only does short trips) of more than 20 mins i can smell the coolant more so when i park the car up and get out :S Everything seems fine , no leaks overheating etc ? Never noticed it before.

I picked up a 172 yesterday and was trawling through the forum looking for a few of the faults that mine has and I also have this. I would put it down to there being a pin-sized hole in the heater matrix as I noticed that when i put the heater on hot the smell was stronger.

I just bought a magic tree to fix mine, I have far more important things to fix before that.
