Info regarding Tax/Insurance

Basically I'm looking at getting a new car, however the car in question currently is SORN'd and has no Insurance. Now obviously you can get day insurances, etc but how could I test drive it legally?

Aside from that, trade plates I'm imagine is about the only way ?

Obviously you'd need to be a trader... or find a friend who is and get them to drive it for you

That's what I was thinking, no tax, no test drive.

Don't think I have any friends who are traders
