You ring your insurance company and tell them lol

I always check the price before doing a mod, with my company now most mods are free but some do charge a fair bit.

Think DVLA need to know about engine swaps aswell.

Ring up and tell them just. Then they;ll tell you if its possible and if so how much you owe them...

whenever i've done it i've "suggested" that i'm "thinking" of doing the mods to my car when trying to sound out how much it'll cost.. remember most conversations get recorded ;)

As above just phone up your insurer and let them know. Hopefully you have chosen your insurer wisely so you will not be hit with a huge increase in premium/cancellation

For an engine swapped car, you need to speak to a specialist insurer. My company insure many engine swapped cars, mine included!
