Is it just the cold weather?

Just a quick one, when i stop sometimes quite quickly the engine seems to drop revs for a split second (the needle on the rev counter doesn't move though). the same sort of thing as when you stood still and turn the steering wheel, i always thort this was coz your putting more load on the engine? Noticed my dads saxo does it, was just wondering if it would be to do with the cold weather, coz ive only noticed it recently and it is bloody cold!!!:S

yes its strain on the engine when turning the wheel stationry coz the powerstreering is being used and when stopping quickly maybe due to abs?
