Anyway as trax draws nearer, and its my last show with the clio hopefully, i decided to start trax prep today. This included having a set of wheels bored out to fit then tyres fitted and bolted up... Theyre et13 as standard... but with my spacers et-12. Only thing is that the 15" wheels accentuate the arch gap which was always bad, but now frankly upsetting, to the point i even emailed AP to have a moan. 
To prove the front is lower, hear are my epic new scrapage marks, baring in mind the car never usually goes on the drive these are all done today since the others were masked in grime

I t's just easier going outside and measuring than waiting for a reply on here, just a suggestion as it's the most obvious solutionI do like it
Jesus - what's the issue with me asking him, he's already ordered it! Not like I'm asking him to do any measurements etc..?

Well, i keep saying this is last thing i do to the car... but hopefully It is. Anyway, this is the story of trax 2010, my issues and what happened after.
Friday night the car was clean and ready to roll, but saturday morning me and Lbrench went to a french scrappers which led to me scraping on the surface of pretty much everything. This then tore my heatshield and had it hanging down. Bit of Gaffa tape though and I was ready once again.

Met up with a few mates at krispy kremes, and got ready to move on out.
On the motorway on the way down.... Zero archgap ftw.
Now the eagle eyed of you will see the blue detailing tape all over the car, my thinking was, if i cover the dirtiest sections in tape, i wont have to clean them, but this being me, i rushed it and it started peeling, all over the motorway
At the services with my mates fiesta and jesus's 172 (RIP little 172)
And sat next to a members euro'd ph1
Here I did intend to park in line, but thats where i beached myself and where it pretty much stayed, after burning the grass.
Anyway, had a brilliant night, got wasted, threw up repeatedly (sorry lady bock), met some more members.
then on the way into trax.........

Anyway, the car was returned to manchester on wednesday and before i knew it the car was back... YAY!!!
But now its time to get it ready for sale in december/january.
but I wanted to paint my wheels one last colour, the one i wanted all along. Purple!
Went out with a mate who thinks hes a bit of a camera whizzkid, and he snapped these, i only sort of like the last one but thats life i suppose.
and that is exactly how the car sits now. Gonna get it ready for sale asap and hopefully in my MX5 (I hope)

Did you end up getting anywhere with Silverstone, covering any costs? Did the damage cost much?
Still prefer it on the green Canastas
Nope theyve hid their heads in the sand + theres an uber disclaimer on the back of the ticket
It cost enough, but its pretty much all sorted minus the exhaust is blowing a touch
, i still have the green canastas
