My New Authentique

Hi, just registered, so hello.
just bought my first car today
Renault Clio Authentique 1.1 2002
turn 17 in a few weeks so im looking to modify a couple of thing
is it possible to remove the pretend plastic disk foglights and add real ones?
ive read about wiring and some have it others dont.
Does anyone know if mine will?
And will it be an easyish first task to fit some fog lights?
then im lookign at some new wingmirrors.
new front wing as it is slightly off
possibly a spoiler
not too over the top though
want it to look more subtle

To fit the fogs take the bumper off. The wiring should already be there.

most wiring looms are standard, so source some fogs from a scrappy and they will go straight in.

to make them work, you will need the new stalk with the switch on it.

no need to remove the front bumper i done it on axel stands.

mine had the wiring (remove the passengers side fog light cover and you'll see if its there) but mine had the basic UCH so didnt work even with the wiring and new stalk. luck of the draw you might be ok might not.

Just wire them up to your full beam, when do you ever use front fogs anyway?

Those aint standard Authentique wheels.

The authentique came on steelies.

im probobly going to change for later anyways
dont mind the style, but, there not the neatest ones around

i was unsure about getting the authentique, as a few people **** them off

The dynamique is the desireable one, But i thought the authentique didnt even have electric windows.

i thinks its the interior thats lets the authentique down compared to the dynamique etc

The main problem with any mk2 that isn't a dynamique or RS is the god aweful 2 tone dash. The authentique is a bit poverty though tbh.

None of the Ph2-> come with manual windows.

i think its actually an expression
has sun roof, electric windows
and on the MOT DVLA owner certificate
it says Expression 16 v
is this just because its the only clio name in their database
or will it actualyl be an expression?
if so ive got a very good deal

Do you have rear headrests? Or a blue with little red sport interior?

If you've got both it's an expression.

interior
seats are black with subtleish blue lines on it
and on the mot and vehicle certificate it says expression

wanting to be subtle, not chavvy and brash

Alloys, clear side repeaters, RS grill, silvervisions, fog lights, dynamique rear spoiler, all good mods.

got alloys, not overly keen on them so will get those later
spoiler wanted, a little one though
where are good sites?
fitting a spoiler, is welding needed or is it a push in affair?
was going to get the dynamique one
are they expensive?
fog lights im goign to get also

Easy to replace, 6 torx screws, unclip the old spoiler, replace with new and rescrew.

Need a different washer jet though, couple of quid from Renault.

such as the dynamique spoiler
had a lookcouldnt find any that sell stock pars

Just 2 add, im pretty sure it says on a little badge kinda thing in the glove box wot model you have, i dont know if u know definetly wot u got or not, but thort it was worth saying.
