My Trophy and a drive out in the snow

So this is the latest clio in my collection, it's immaculate, brand new speedline turini's from renault, no dents etc, Cooksport springs, wiper mod and a few other bits and bobs.

I wanted to take it up to my favourite driving road which is hartside, kind of a little run down and make sure everything is ok and bed the cooksport springs in nicely.

Was a great drive, car performed great and some of the snow was insane, I took some pics of the trophy next to the snow as a sort of comparison, some of it was around 9-10 ft high. Also had a little play with a new fabia vrs, sadly he chose the wrong car to try and keep up with on a twisty b road :)

Heres some pics, the quality is shocking as I left my Nikon camera at home

The beginning were when it was clean, mid way through its filthy, then I jetwashed it off back in alston as I hate salt sitting on the car. After jetwashing the car off I headed up the cobbles in alston and found loads of people waving union jack flags, all the shop owners were out and I was wondering if word had spread there was a clean, low'ish trophy in town and everyone had turned out to see it, shame they were actually there to see prince charles, how dare he steel the trophy's limelight!

How do the Cooksport springs affect the handling then? I thought the general consensus was not to mess with the Trophy setup.

Nah mate consensus is don't fit harsh springs or remove the Sachs dampers, the cooksports are very good

Cheers for all the comments.

Sorry should've said its the wiper stalk mod, basically trophy's come with a fixed intermitant wiper setting and not the usual adjustable one you get on a normal 1*2, so people tend to upgrade them and swap the stalks over

They're not bad at all Keith, I think the rear is 5-10mm too low so may look to get something else for the rear but the front sits spot on, the roads are very salty and making the car slide when trying to push on but they seem ok so far

Lovely example that, I'd have provably stuck with sport lines as I think the cooksports look a tad too low for standard dampers?

Thanks, keep me updated with how they are as the mileage gets put on them. And get some photos off your Nikkon ;)

I like the front just needs some rear sportlines. May see if anyone wants to swap
