Noise on start up when cold!!

Fitted new auxiliary belt to my 172 cup last weekend,started car on very cold Wednesday morning random slapping sound coming from belt end of engine!!! Lasts about 30-60 seconds?.. Must be in under cam belt cover as sounds like stone hitting inside of plastic!!!!! Not heard it when starting when cold!!

can check the tensioners on both belts, cam belt one is a bit more difficult to get to and you will have to remove some stuff to get to it however you can see if there is tension in the cam belt by taking the cam sprocket cover off...

Thanks! It has been quite cold here in UK the past week minus 5 at night and only seems to happen when starting from cold engine temp and cold morning! Will check tension on cambelt!
