got some mk2 ph3 dynamique alloys (15 inch versions of the 172 alloys, all virtually unmarked. Needs couple of new tires and one tire is almost new, the other good for a few miles

You're out of luck matey. Phase 2 172 alloys seem to be like gold dust to find. Mine are a bit tatty so have hunted high and low for some ones in new condition and still haven't found any. A set of four new ones from renault will cost you £500. Dunno if that's any help. Reagroup Renault dealers supposedly do 20% off patrs for cars over 3 years old, I dunno if they'd include alloys in this as that's be £400 then. Bonzer!
