PS3 films

There maybe athread already but I couldn't find one.

Has anyone used it yet? I know Xbox has had it for a while but wondered what speeds are like downloading. On a rental does it just stream in SD or HD or do you download it on a 24 hr license?

I had a quick look through it last night and it looks pretty good... I thought 3 or 4 quid was reasonable for a rental... How long do you get it for?

I assume 24 hrs, prices are pretty much the same as Blockbuster so makes life easier. Some good films too, even some good oldies. I want Star Trek in HD though, only in SD at the moment.

oh interesting. were abouts is it? had a look today when i was on ps3, but only saw iplayer, nothing under video's etc.

Just tried to rent Bruno or Night at the Musem 2, and you can only buy them which sucks, 11.99 is a bit overpriced, when you can get them online for cheaper.

Will this play the films in 5.1 surround ?
