Rear brake pad carrier

Fitted new rear discs went to refit brake pad carrier and the bolt holes don't line up. The piston is wind right in any ideas?

Yes and the correct way.

It's been a while since I've done rear brakes on a Clio so I can't think why the holes wouldn't line up.
How far out are they?

Is the little lug on the pad fitting into the recess on the caliper? If not it could cause enough of a problem to stop things fitting properly

Yeah lug all lined up. About 3mm out. It seems like it's the thickness of the disc
