i've seen a bike engined saxo which had a hayabusa engine in the boot with a chain driving the axle. wont have been cheap at all.

You could take a leaf out of Renaults book and drive the front of a FWD Turbo car into the back of a clio. They basically did that with a 3.0 V6 Laguna.
Z cars are one company who can help there alos a Renaulkt tunner who have done this tyre of conversion.
It wouldn't be that bad to diy so long as you are mchanically enough minded getting it to handle would be the challenge.
