Removing std air box, 2003 1.2 16v

Am really struggling here!

1) Can't seem to remove the standard intake hose, and

2) Have removed the two bolts at the top of the air filter housing, but it won't shift either! Feels like its screwed in at the bottom of the box as well.

What am I doing wrong?

Apologies if I'm being stupid, thought this was meant to be one of the easier jobs to do!

it is very easy! do you have problems assembling flat pack furniture too??

Hahaha! Normally quite good at these sort of things but cant get the bloody thing to budge! Will give it another go in the morning.

And its definitely just those two bolts at the top of the airbox that I have to undo right?

sure is. then you can 'fold' it down to remove the filter / attach the induction backplate
