Selling car and insurance

OK, finally selling my car next week but the policy runs until January. Do you think the insurance company will allow me to insure my mums car until then? Basically swapping the policy over now that the Clio is gone?

start of the year I had a meastro, two weeks later I changed insurance to 1.2 clio, then
directline let me change from 1.2 clio to the 172 in my last month of the year.

shouldnt be a problem, and I kept my no claims discount.

Mike ive changed mines 3 times this year for my second car usually a small admin fee £15-£25

But remeber a car can only be covered by 1 policy so if your mums is already insured then you cant.
