Settle - Ribblehead - Buttertubs - Epic drive 2012 - Saturday 30th June

It was an awesome meet and drive, so I propose we get another organised...

The route is as below

Basically meet in Keighley, drive upto Settle, over to Ribblehead and then Buttertubs pass and back down the Dales to Bolton Abbey.

Meet at the Alston Retail Park Keighley (BD21 3NJ) 9:30am

Was thinking last 2 weeks of June, either 23rd or 30th.

Last time we got stuck in the smallest village in the world, with about 10 loud clios!

The locals were not ammused

Last time we got stuck in the smallest village in the world, with about 10 loud clios!

The locals were not ammused

was this the meet i attended and we found ourselves driving down the narrowest village road ever?

depending on funds at the time id be interested. 30th! for me.

Yeah that's the one mate! We took a wrong turn due to a biker having an accident and closing the road to Hawes...

Right shall we confirm a few more details?

Meet at the Alston Retail Park Keighley (BD21 3NJ) 9:30am

Travel up to Settle, and then upto the Ribblehead Viaduct, take a few photos etc

Then off again uptowards Hawes along the B6255 (Which is a lovely road)

Get to Hawes and take the turn off for the Buttertubs Pass

Stop for a drink at the Farmers Arms (DL11 6QG) http://www.farmersarmsmuker.co.uk/

Head off east towards Reeth then down to Leyburn and Masham, leading onto a great looking B road down towards Pateley Bridge.
