Sleeved decat problem

Hi all!

Just received my sleeved janspeed decat pipe to go with the janspeed cat-back system,

All was going fine whilst removing the Cat until it was time to pull out the adaptor from the centre section which clamps the centre section to the Cat,

For the life of me I can't get this thing out!

Anyone else had this problem?

Any suggestions?

right

disconnect cat and remove

put the olive joint clamp on the end of the adapter (joint end) and tighten it back up like you would if the cat was there

wack it hard with a hammer (toward the front of the car obviously)

keep wacking untill it comes out of the center section

then slide your decat pipe in (will probs need tapping in with hammer)

As hipwell says, use some wd40 aswell
