I want to be able to run a select statement on a table with a group of numbers in a field.
These numbers are integers of a random numbers dependant on the data.
Basically I have a list of say 30, 40, 51, 58, 70, etc.
I have a number eg 50 and I want to run a query to find the closest record (in this case 51).
I realise I could order them but if I do this I won't necessarily get the correct result.
