Just wondered if there is any reason why people don't use steel wheels so much on track cars. The weight difference between the average 15 inch alloys and steelies is negligible. The rally guys all use them so they are strong enough.
I have read that alloy wheels are a much better heat sink, but I don't really think that would matter that much for trackday use.
Obviously alloys usually look a lot better, is that the main reason??
