Stop light on when running on hill

  BG 182
Hi guys,

Had a nightmare of a week last week a sweeping brush head came off a wagon in front of me went under the car and put a hole in the sump. After a 325 pound bill to fix it I've just noticed this morning it was running on the drive and the stop light was ohn oil levels fine. However when I slammed the door in a rage the light flickered on and off.
my question is what could it be? Oil pressure switch or a loose wire ?
