The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Working at Tatton park today, which as it turns out is surrounded by very posh houses, very rich people and high end car dealerships, so just today I saw : Ferrari 355, 458 Italia, Brabus G Wagon outside a car dealership with a price tag of £135k, new right hand drive Mustang GT, Morgan of some kind, Maserati Ghibli and more Porsche's than I could count, was a great day for car spotting.

I saw one of these today, in this colour, didn't even know they existed, I wish I still didn't..

Where did you see that, I saw one on Saturday in the same colour. I was pissed when I saw it and thought I was seeing things. It had two blokes in it with the roof down, probably from the dealership down the road.

It was just off the M621 south of Leeds, near Beeston. Yeah couple blokes in the front with the roof down, I wasn't the only one gawking at it!

Working in posh f*cker land again today, saw a yellow Gallardo Spider, an orange McLaren MP-12C, an Aston Martin Rapide, every Rolls Royse there is in one of their dealerships and drove past a McLaren dealership where they had two MP-12C's, one of them a spider which just looked incredible.

There are loads of nice motors in Leeds at the minute. Seen a 458, black 360, BMW M2 and a Huracan Spider in the last few days alone.

This was at work today, had a Riley badge on the front, whoever they are but looked very Bugatti like and pretty cool

Also saw this in my local waitrose, had a 732i badge on the back and was proper clean, so cool

The MG was fantastic.
It's an MGB with a 2.5 Jaguar V6 and 250BHP.
The owner stuck that engine in because, "it's never been done before, so I wanted to see if it could be!"
Sounded mental and was seriously quick too.

Targa is the type of roof.
It's a pop out roof rather than a full convertible IIRC.

Was at a Jap show at the weekend, plenty of sparkling show cars in attendance but as it was a meet they weren't spotted so I won't post them up, however there were a couple of Subaru unicorns that I've never seen in person before which I thought were worthy, an SVX and a Brat (was the full Brat owners club, about 10 of them in a row!)
Also a special Transit too.

Customer let me me borrow this for a couple of weeks for our wedding.

1973 911 2.7 RS Lightweight touring. Rare is an understatement, it's also one of the first 500 made for homoglation purposes. Just been fully restored with all new panels.

We were trying to work out how much it was worth and it's between £500k - £1 million going by previous sale prices

Yea, he was going to lend me his Ferrari FF but sold it last year. He then text whilst I was at the Nurburging on my stag do and said

"Good morning Dan. Just thinking about your Big Day ! I Hv a 1973 2.7rs touring, just been restored. Which will sit 4, at a squeeze. You can borrow it for the wedding if you like ? Cheers, Ron"

I drove one of these about 18 years ago and loved it, the one I drove was like a acid yellow. The reg number was 1 KNK and was owned by one of our Porsche customers.

He also has a 1974 911 RSR that he has raced for him by Lee Maxted Page and another guy. It drives so nicely, although it's work as nothing is assisted, once it gets above 3/4K the noise it makes is epic! Loved every second and he even insured one of my best men on it to drive from the Church to Hotel.

He's cool as f**k! He just really wanted to do something for me and knowing I love cars he wanted to lend me something, he's actually the guy with the two matching one off 458 Speciales I posted a few pages back! Thanks for the congratulations!

It's looks so plain as well and just like any other Porsche but the history of it makes it special!
