Hi

Basically my car (Mk1 172) is due for its 36k service very soon. I emailed K-Tec Racing for a quote. He replied with a quote of £280 including parts and labour. Is that good for the 36k service?

I also asked for a quote on the cambelt change as next year is the 5th year they quoted my £398 including all parts and labour.

What do people think? are K-Tec (based in Ferndown, Dorset) any good?

k tec are very good, have you rang your renault dealer, how much do they want?

mind you though,some renault dealers are cr*p.

yeah they quoted me around the same sort of price maybe £20-30 more at the dealer.

But I have been told Newmilton Renault are crap. So I need to look elsewhere and I dont fancy taking it to a garage which has never worked on a 172/182. So I thought id email KTEC

Id go to Ktec they know what there doing more than most dealerships do plus they will know what a 172 is.
Might be worth asking if there a Cliosport discount.
