whats the diffrence between coilovers and regular springs?

I know this is a real newby question, but what is the advantage with coilovers as aposed to regular performance springs.

Coilovers can be tailored and alterered alot more for what you need.


Springs basically do one thing - drop the c**t.

Coilovers can be set to whatever ride height you like depending on what ones you get, some have a limiter for example 30mm-70mm you can also get dampening adjustables with coilovers
