Wheel Colour change on my Megane RS250

Spent the day spraying my wheels in Plastidip today. A few Photos:

I'll post pictures of them on the car tomorrow (once the car has had a clean) as I'm letting the paint fully dry overnight.

Not a fan, sorry.
The point of the oem finish is that there is 2 overlayed shapes going on. The black, and the polished.
Now it just looks like a mess!

Do people seriously not understand plastidip?

PLASTIDIP CAN BE PEELED OFF IF YOU DONT LIKE THE COLOUR

This doesn't stop it looking s**t though... Right?

Lighting is bad and photos taken on an iPad. The colour is actually matt red.

It's not going to be to everyone's taste but it does look different in the flesh. And as its Plastidip if it doesn't go I'll just start again with a different colour.

The colour of the car is also not Liquid yellow that's only available on the Ltd edition 265bhp Trophy model. Mine is just the standard Solid Yellow colour.

The only reason for the change is my OH kerbed one of the alloys last month so I wanted to protect the wheels over the winter while I decide what refurb route I'm going to take. It only cost me £50 for the paint and half a day of my time and as the weather was crap today I didn't have much on. Well apart from watching Mickey Mouse Club House with my 20month old Daughter.

Red on yellow is cool when done right. Need fitted pics to decide tbh. I love that first pic though!

Might change my mind when they're on the car.

Not a fan ATM though. Black would've looked so much better.

But he'll have wasted about £50 in the process ;) a Photoshop beforehand is the easiest and cheapest way to see if it'd look good. Then, I'd use proper paint.
