wiper wash prob

hi all, another problem on daughters v reg clio 1.2, when you press the windscreen wash no water squirts out, I have disconnected the tube as near to the bottle as possible and still no water comes out, you can hear the sound as if the motor/pump is trying to work, could it just be dirt got into it? or is there something im missing ? thanx

The impellor on the pump has probably let go. You can get Washer pumps for 14 quid!
