Aftermarket Speakers

This is going to sound stupid but when you install aftermarket speakers, Pioneer for example, does the grey speaker cover fit over the top or does it not?

I fitted Edge ED305 components and they fitted straight in with no modification and fit behind the standard grills.

Are the Edge ED305 any good?
Also do you know if Pioneer TS-Q171C would fit behind the standard grills?

I think the Edge are pretty good for the money, you could buy a lot better though. The Pioneers would be too big to fit without modification.

Is the max 16cm in the front and 15cm in the back?

Do the Clio tweeters have a grill over them like the door speakers do? Basically I don't want to be able to see any speakers, I want them to fit under the Clio speaker grill.

The mid subs did, the tweeters will need mounting in the holes. JBL supply in the box a load of different mounts for the tweeters.

Really easy to fit, they use the standard connector so no messing around. Sound is good as well a lot better than standard

I have these, F: TS-Q171C, R: Alpine SPG-13C2.
Think I might change the fronts to match the rears: Alpine SPG-13CS

I'm using the OEM Cabasse Auditorium Tuner List stereo with a THB Bury CC9060 bluetooth car kit.
Thinking of adding one of these PAC SOEM-4 4-Channel Premium Line-Out Converter so I can amp the speakers.
