Mk4 clio boot trim removal.

  Renault clio
Hello all. Does anyone know how to remove the chrome boot trim on the mk4 clio? I've searched online but found nothing. I just don't like chrome on cars and I want it gone but can't seem to get it off. It's the long part and the bottom of the boot.

Thanks for any help.

It's held on by foam sticky strip the whole way. Use some floss , string or fishing line to remove it

Shea, did you ever remove yours? People have said it's just stuck on, but on the earlier cars (perhaps up to the 2016 facelift at least) I believe it also had not pins through holes, but things at each end that located into dimples. I'm keen to know if all cars had those locating dimples, Sport or not?
