Oh that thing - nailed it first attempt, honestly!

The big advantage was on one of the mezzanine floors, was a HMG that you could dismount and use that. That easily took off 50% of it's health on its own.

Nope - just Normal or whatever it defaults to.

Tbf, I did fail that bit a couple of times before it where various enemies come in. Nothing I had was that powerful and the reload times were so slow. I only managed it by hiding behind cover in the far corner.

Just ordered this on switch 2. Saw a website selling it for 47.99 so went for it.

Baby number 2 is due in a few weeks so I have no idea when I will actually play it. But I will see how I get on.

Another night, another 1hr+ put into it from me.

The inventory/character/skills screen is still a complete and utter mess even after the hours I've put into it. But the rest of it is really well thought out.

I'm on PC, with what should be the best option using a mouse.

Each screen is different, from your skills, character, inventory, cyberware, upgrades, etc. Crafting is meh, some increases in attributes applied by holding down a key others you just click.... the list goes on. I get involved with a lot of UI/UX at work - and I get that nervous twitch when its done poorly....

Cracking mission last night though - thoroughly enjoyed it. Tried my best at sneaking about and was doing well until I dropped a bollock.

Had to resort to Arnie in Commando tactics to get out of there. Managed it and then tootled off having summoned my motorbike.

Currently working through the cyber psychos, but have a lot of side missions queued up as well.

Sorry, late reply.

For a newbie, Normal will be fine, Hard makes it a bit more of a challenge, but knowing how to play it first might be a good shout before upping the difficulty.

The biggest differences between life paths;
• Unique dialogue, specific to each one.
• Where you start the game.
• Each has 1 or 2 side quests unique to them.

Other than that, it doesn't make much difference. I've done more Streetkid and Nomad playthroughs than Corpo.

Avoid being a jack of all trades with your character build, you need to think about your choices because some builds only show their strengths the higher your level, where others might come in handy at the lower levels.

Explore, explore, explore, climb, drive, walk. There's so much to see and do.

You should be alright at 1440p, ray tracing will probably be a bit of a stretch though.

Yes, @Rojer said he struggled with ray tracing, but then some people online say they can use it no problem, someone has suggested these settings.

Played a tiny bit last night. Ran out of time because making my character at the start took forever!

I did quickly notice how iffy the graphics were at times, I wasn't expecting anything amazing anyway on the switch 2. But walking up towards a fence with barbed wire on and seeing it change size as I walked closer or moved further way was a bit disappointing. 🤣
The same happened when I walked up towards a bunch of plants too.

I literally haven't scratched the surface yet, it shown a quick cut scene of a passage of time when getting into night city and then I went to bed.
Still amazes me how it is running on a little dinky cartridge and a handheld device though, graphics aside that is

The graphics will be the biggest drawback on the switch I think. I think they're amazing on the PS5, I think it would blow my mind on a high end PC. At certain points the game looks phenomenal, environmentally.

Level 43 myself and 53 hours in. Doing a fair bit of the campaign on the Phantom Liberty DLC at the minute.

i am back into this in a big way, got that feeling again of wanting to get home so i can play it, i am still only level 10, but managed to get the Bionic Tendons last night, really did forget just how good and immersive this game is, looks so nice on the PC ultra settings as well, i normally invest heavily in Sniper Builds when i play these type of games, but i am trying to a go a little bit different on this with a Cyber Runner build, getting used to using Cyber Decks, going to be a slow burner as i think you need to be fairly levelled up for the Cyber Decks to be really effective.

Also staying away from the main missions, just doing jobs for Regina jones and cleaning up NPC jobs as i come across them, great way to earn street cred and money, i have already paid off the Ripper Doc, bought some decent Cyber Ware and have about 40k still.

Also come across a SPT32 Grad sniper rifle last night, its very good at my level.

I might start this up again before BF6 gets released, but on controller this time.

I did feel I ended up going off track and just running round and exploring, rather than actually doing the missions. Is there any recommended method of levelling up / getting resources / progressing etc or just play the campaign and side missions and do it that way?

Normally i try and do a mix of side missions mixed in with the main story, but this time round i am just doing side missions and clearing out gang problems for the NPC, it's a good way to level up, get money and get street cred, i am level 12 now and i have only done 1 or 2 main missions, another good ploy is when you see a gang battle or the police fighting with gangs, just sit off and wait until it's over and them go an loot all the bodies.

I need to pick this back up. I made the mistake of getting Hogwarts Legacy as well as this and have been roaming the castle ever since 🤣

I haven't played it since doing first main mission and going to apartment for first time. Thats when I saved and turned it off

i am enjoying it so much more than the first time i played it, with all the updates they have made it plays so much better, and is so much smoother, you still get the odd little glitch but overall it's a brilliant game.

The only downside for me is the Cyberware upgrades, i find them hard work, so many different options, i much prefer the fallout method, level up and choose a perk, just makes things much simpler.
