Anyone used water repellent spray and able to recommend a brand they’ve had success with?

I’ve tried a few on the rear window on my TT (as they have no rear wipers) and they last a day at most so wondering if anyone has used similar with better effects? Cheers

Best of the best in my eyes. You have to prep glass as per instructions but once done, it lasts for years.

Came to suggest this.

Absolutely mad that it's still a similar price after all those years.

I expected it to be £20+

G1 is very very good in all fairness. But its one of the more traditional in application style.

For super ease, id recommend the Glaco stuff. One is a compound you apply with an almost deodorant style applicator. Then you use the other to apply the sealant and buff off. By far the easiest one to apply and should last yonks being a rear screen without a wiper.

I like the Glaco stuff for how quickly it is to apply but IME longevity just isn't that good if you do any decent milage. I need to re apply every month or two. Tried both the normal and ultra and same story. Gyeon do a similar product as well but I think it's worse than Glaco and costs a load more.

Probably gonna do a proper coating on the glass once the weather improves and I can be arsed

Weird, I haven't noticed that but I don't do huge mileage TBF.

Is this on a windscreen? Wiper swipe can degrade them pretty quickly in fairness. But on a rear screen without a wiper it should last ages!
