CSF26 ClioSport Festival 2026 - Tickets On Sale Now!

Shall we all give the lad a rest?

If folk knew how much it affected him, I think you'd all zip it.
He's not coming as he doesn't want to have to deal with people cracking jokes at his expense.

So respectfully, give zipping it a try.

Do apologise for posting this, but it's about time it was said. He's missing out because of how people are acting. That shouldn't be happening.

Was genuinely asking if he was out on track as it would be great to see him back out there.

Agree it would be mate and that honestly wasn't aimed at you 🙏

It's toward the ones laughing and cracking jokes when their own driving ability is well, questionable at best.
Worse, when it wasn't even his driving that caused it. And that's from a professional drivers perspective.

It's a dangerous environment and it could have been a very different outcome.
People need to simmer down on it and move on.

They could be next and I bet it won't be funny then 🤷‍♂️

Wouldn't make jokes like that matey.. Those barriers pop up out of no where

@Rskennedy you don't mind a few close passes do you? 😇
I know, having watched plenty of videos recently in all honestly I’m feeling a little on edge. At least we won’t have any rain to contend with.

Hands up I apologise, although genuinely it wasn’t meant to come across perhaps how it did.

I saw a post a few pages back where a “Dave” and genuinely assumed it was Dave in the group. Didn’t even know he wasn’t attending, which is a shame ☹️

Just a bit of a thought aswell as I’ve seen it happen before at Blyton….

IF you are parking on a grassed area - especially your car of choice for track, let it cool down on tarmac before parking on the grassed area.

It hasn’t rained for how long now and it’s going to be very dry.

Last thing we want is someone’s pride and joy going up in flames.

I was thinking about this before.

There 'should' be enough paddock space over the three levels for everyone that's on track.

Aye but there's always some f**king womble that bimbkes down and parks their Qashqai there, because they can't be arsed to walk from the actual car park and move their fat oaf legs

Genuinely appreciate this.

Ive done my best with the Howdi exhaust, but its beginning to sag like an old pair of tits. Id definitely catch the grass on fire and it didnt cross my mind.

Getting it out of our system before tomorrow where we all see each other face to face and just be proper nice to each other.

Ahh takes me back to when a well known member back in the mid 2000's (King Stromba) spent weeks threatening to have a full on fight with a member of the moderating team at French Car Show. On the day he hovered about in the background all shy and didn't say a word.

That name rings a bell, I have a feeling he used to do the same over on Pistonheads... 😂

And then he changed his name to @McGherkin

I'm rolling up as passenger this year, but if I get over excited and decide to maybe want to have a go, can I slot into a session and pay on the day?

No promises, but we should be able to accommodate if there are spaces left in the session. The earlier in the morning you take the call and see Nik the better.

Will the option of buying tickets on the gate ever be opened up again?
Unless we go back to somewhere like Blyton where we had the space and approval to get a lot of the setup done on Friday then probably not in all honesty. We can do emergency ticket sales in the CS shop if needed, but preference is for members to pay in advance.

It took two staff to man the gate, which meant less hands elsewhere for setup and whilst about 50% of sales were nice and easy the other half were always a PITA “I’ve bought 2 kids tickets but instead I’ve brought 3 adult mates with me, can I swap the tickets and pay the difference but only two are camping and one doesn’t like grass so can he camp on the track itself and where can I hook up power for my Sybian” meanwhile about 10 other cars are queuing up at the gate and then the odd numpty trying to bypass the queue and drive straight in.
