Pass MOT With Flying colours

Just taken my 172 for its 2nd MOT in its life and passed with flying colours £40 i remember taking my R5 4 years ago and it being a £10 :S

Congrats, they have gone up, the last MOT I had done about 2 years ago was about £25!

Congratulations mate. I bet that put a big smile on your face. Mine's not due for it's 2nd one until next June, hopefully mine will go straight through too, although I do expect to have to do the brake pads before then. lol

Oh bloody hell! Good job my servicing costs are pretty low with my garage then. I remember when an MOT cost me £14, that's going back a good few years now though. I hear the MOT's are about to get abit tougher too. God knows what else will be on the MOT now then! :S

Is it right that if it fails and you take car away, they charge a half fee to re do it?

My car has only passed one MOT in 4! Fails were only on small things like number plate bulb not working tho

It failed its 1st MOT cos one of the lights needed adjusting ;S i thought they adjusted on there own :S
