360 av cable for pc monitor (tft) v's hdmi

if i get the 360 and get the connectin to play it on my tft monitor, will the graphics be as stunning as using hdmi ?

u can't get an hdmi cable for the 360.

Try the VGA cable for a potentially better picture, but be prepared for washed out colours

I use mine through a vga cable.

i do also have the component cable.

i find the picture sharper through the vga cable.

They will be vastly improved, i play mine through my 19" monitor and it looks very good.

You have to buy a y adaptor to converet back to 1 connector. Failing that just run rca cable to the stereo, job done.

right i brought a "mad catz" lead from pc world. £15 and it came with a digital lead for the surround sound. The digital lead then plugs into your new av in the back of the 360...dont worry you'll figure it out!

component is much worse than vga mainly due to teh fact it wont upscale through component !!!

I've reverted back to the component lead as supplied with the premium Xbox. With the VGA lead the colours were dark and washed out. I couldn't adjust the settings on my telly to get an image I was happy with. Details were sharper with the VGA lead though.

Wierd I found the exact opposite.. image was lighter on VGA than component, although I will give you that the colours were slightly better on component.. although in VGA's favour it was a sharper image.
