Wiring issue - lambda sensor - help needed

  Clio 172 Cup
Hey peeps,

I have recently replaced my janspeed decat with the original renault cat, but i discovered a problem. The wiring that the lambda sensor plugs into isn't there. When I had my decat fitted I had a few problems with power etc and I took it to the garage. They must have taken the whole wire out - the one that runs parallel next to the exhaust system then across underneath the driver's side. It cost £180!!! and it fixed the problem, but now that I have put the cat back on i'm getting the problems again. All i need is that one wire to connect up the lambda sensor into the cat BUT I rang renault, and they said oh i'm sorry we dont just sell the wires separate we have to order the WHOLE wiring loom and it cost £500!!!!! WTF. So basically does anyone know where I can get hold of that wire? I tried the breakers but they dont have any 172's/cups in at the moment. Bloody nightmare!!!!

Any help will be great.
J

PS its the second lambda sensor I need the wiring for - the one furthest to the rear of the car.

Just make up the loom yourself its only a few wires.
I'll get the pin outs for the sensor and were they go to coloures etc if you want in a bit.

Yeah my Dad said that. If you can get me the details that'd be great cheers. :)

Ok theres 4 wires, two run to a heater element (lines A and B) the othe two to the sensor itself (D and C)

The lines are in order A-B-C-D are the order

Line A is a black return line needs a 30amp fuse you could just tap into the lambeda infront of the cat black line as they both feed from the same location. This feeds the power for the heather element. 1mm cross sectional wire. 3FB

Line B is orange goes to plug 68 on the ECU. 1mm cross sectional cable. Its the control line for the heater.

Line C is brown, goes to plug 44 on the ECU. 0.6mm cross sectional cable. Its the sensor feed signal.

Line D is white, goes to plug 76 on the ECU. 0.6mm cross sectional cable. Its the earth line for the sensor

wicked mate, that means not much to me but my old man might know. How do i know which are the plugs on the ECU? All i have to guide me is the 4 wires - is that all i need then??

The plugs are labeled. Just find the wires they won't have been cut to far back though.
