i`ve finally got my 172 and im happier than gary glitter outside a school! its only got 24,000 on the clock mint condition 1 lady owner and standard apart from the 17`s
cant wait to start moddin little fings 1st like some silvervisions, colour codin the brakes/ doorstrips and handles then defo lowerin it 40mm!
by all means giv ur opinions bout the car or wot mods shud b done

cheers mate, i heard there was only 60 in the uk but not sure if thats true

its takem me ages 2 hunt this colour down not 2 mention a car in this condition so im pretty chuffed

im still decidin whether or not 2 keep them but as they came wiv it im not complainin as the 100+ and in mint condition

no problem rich, they were askin 5400 but i got it down to 4999 from renault dealership and they threm me in full service and usual mot and tax which was a bonus

You got a good deal there mate, especially for a car with 24k and as rare as it is.
Probably one of the nicest colours that RenaultSport have done too. The wheels aren't too bad, there are ones out there that would suit it more but if it was me, it wouldn't bother me too much.

I'd colour code the bump strips before swapping the wheels. :D

I paid 4300 for mine, same colour, on 29k.

cheers 4 the comment guys, i fink it was at oldham then moved to bolton, i drove 80 miles to see it!
any opinions on wot alloys then people as i dont want to copy the usual turina route?

I personally think aftermarkets are pretty w**k these days unless were talking a nice set of BBS's but even then i think they could be abit fussy for the Clio.

Sorry to say this chap but i think the standards or Trophy coloured Turnins is the only way to go.
 
I have to say, that I think that is the best RS model ever made. Best model, best colour. Please put some OEM rims on it, seems a shame that such a nice car has huge wheels on. Keep it standard, apart from some subtle mods maybe, such as ph2 rear lights, colour code side strips, and a little bit lower.

i agree fellas, they came wiv the car so shud make a tidy profit on them lookin at them and the tread i wud stay a couple of hundren miles old!

exterior wise i`l drop it colour code strips and door handle and paint the calipers either red or flame red!

If it was me the first thing I would do I swap with ph2 rear light clusters, then CC, then calipers.

I think the wheels look good. The won't handles as well as 15s or 16s but it depends how you value aesthetics in relation to performance I guess.

Looks awesome as it is though!

thanks slicker, will hopefully do the calipers at the wkend, not sure bout the rear clusters with the flame red cuz ph2 lights hav the white centre bit where the ph1 clusters r an exact colour match with the colour of the car!
