... About my ABS/Service thing only comes on like 1 a blue moon thought id get it checked out,

There was a Anti roll bar bush missing,£50 notes.
Small rear number plate bulb £6
Engine oil £10
Diagnostic £86
£202 all together i think well somthing stupid.
And aprenetly if i want the light(ABS) to go away for good i need a new drive shaft as the small piece that is cracked(no major isssue tho) can only be replaced with a new drive shaft ?

£450 LMAO... i said i can live with a light as he said it is def not urgent and he dosnt have a courtesy car and i need a car lol...

Also will be geting my Cam belt done soon JayBee motors banbury Quoted £460 (1.4 16v) ..... when on there board of prices i noticed they do 1.6 16v for only £420 and 1.216v for £390.


Any one no in oxfordshire i can get it done cheap.

New driveshaft haha, just tell them to get a new ABS ring, they come off the driveshaft. They're not expensive.

As Tom said a new ABS rign can be bought form Renault cheaply and replaced garages don't like doing it often as a new shafts more garanteed and more money and less effort often.

Talking about bulbs I was once quoted £100 to change a bulb to the oil preasure gauge when I had my Lotus elan.

Bought the bulb and took me ten min to fit.


Dealers are just out to rip people off.

See how much Halfords etc ask for bulbs before you complian then say 5 mins to fit at £60 an hour o wait a second thats more than £6 there charging you.

Try a different dealer dude or phone up Reno UK and get onto them. Or even see if you could source a ring from a breakers or specialists, and get a local back street garage to fit it for you?

on trade you get the bulbs for about 5p. so £6 just re-stocked their shelves.
