Just got off the phone to Merlin Motorsport.

(proper helpful guy!)

Anyways, they do two different types of Cage Tubing, inch and a half, and inch and three quarters, priced at £14 per metre and £15 per metre respectively.

well im not sure, i have a guy who is going to copy a cage for me (10point with doorbars) using that grade steel, or i take the hit and keep this cage and just use that one

Hot drawn seamless tubing is stronger, technicaly its not seamless its just welded so well that its as strong as a rest of the tube. (im a steel geek sorry)

I think a mild steel would be ok, as you got to bend and cut the stuff.

Any metal stockist will have the right stuff.
