uprated door speakers/tweeters

In my old MK1 clio i had a nice set-up consisting of alpine front door speakers and tweaters..

Ive got a 172 now so what do people recommend for some better sounds?

On a tite budget aswell under £75 if possible :rasp:

will those tweeters fit in the normal casing ? or will it be visible that they have been changed?

dash top off then you replace the standard tweeter with the new ones

i had the infinity kappa version of these speakers, the tweeters are asthetically the same as far as i know and whilst the tweeters werent completely hidden they looked relitively oem in my opionion.

infact the infinity reference tweeters should blend in better as they are dark grey rather than silver

i had the infinity kappa version of these speakers, the tweeters are asthetically the same as far as i know and whilst the tweeters werent completely hidden they looked relitively oem in my opionion.

mount the crossovers under dash top or behind door plastics either side of footwell

Can always get an amp at a later date I suppose. (I have no speaker in my drivers door, the other one is a cheap pioneer and 2 JBL cheapos in the back). I think anything will be a big improvement

Ive got a 1000watt 4channel amp, that wouldnt be any good for the door speakers would it?

You could always bridge the 4channel (2 channels per speaker) to run a set of components in the front

1000watt 4channel amp...whilst in rms terms wont give mind blowing performance should give 50watts rms per channel if its a semi decent brand like jbl?

I used to have a twin voice coil Lanzar sub and it was fantastic. I have no idea what the quality of the components are like though. They look powerful, getting a good overal sound out of 13cm speakers is always difficult imo.

i used to have the infinity kappa's in my old clio, really good speakers imo. would recomend them to anyone. tweeters are nice and easy to install in the mk2's origional tweeter location as well

were are the screw to take the top of the dash off then to fit the tweeters ??

also were have u put the cross over box ?
