My first time getting white right too - been trying for a while. Must be easier with silver.

All I did was cut out the body and made it a seperate layer. Image/adjustments/desaturate. Then Image/adjustments/Hue-Saturation and simply brought the lightness up until it looked white.

resale vaules would put me off... not many ppl want to buy a resprayed car

service history upto 45k i bought it with 55 on it and it was fully serviced including new brakes etc when i bought it.them 45k are renault stamps 2

Loads left in it fella. i know a few 172's ther are on 90-120k... russ's 172 ph1 has over 100k on it aswell

Not sure what he would charge tbh.. he's just fitted a spray shop, and oven to his large garage he restores classic cars mainly

True. i doubt i'd ever do it anyway, just interested to see what it would like like in a different colour.
