i got mine for halfords but they had no singel one so i had to buy the full pack still only 8 quid tho so no 2 bad

I couldnt get any in halfords. It took them ages to work out what i was talking about, Becuase i couldnt locate it. Then it turns out all they had was 10mm ones, So i had to buy that and grind it down to 8mm. Worked though.

yes its 100% a 8mm square peg drive and yes halfords do have them , but they only had a 3/8 drive one.about £4 it cost

i have just had all this hasle when i went to do a oil change and thought a 3/8 square peg will do.
some idiot had really tightened it up and my short handled 3/8 rachet with the 8 mm socket on wouldnt move it


so i ended up getting a 1/2 to 3/8 drive convertor so i could use my longer 1/2 rachet on it

jobs a good en now.

i thought i would just confirm it again for other people and that was on my clio 16v 1.2 -------y reg

As most others have said yes Halfords sell it. They also sell a universal spanner type thing with lots of different size squares coming off it (blue in colour) so not sure why this was such a struggle lol

Thats ok if its not on too tight but your screwed if it is (ie, hard to get any sort of leverage like a wrench)
