Facts and figures about HDTV sales

Anyone know where i could get hold of the numbers of HDTV's etc sold in the last few years.

Proper long shot but i need something similar for a report.

Can't help, but if you do can you also find out about how much they have dropped in price since first release? I remember in 2006 paying silly money for an average 42" Plasma.

Looks like they've dropped on average by well over 30% especially this last year but they're expected to only drop another 10% in 2010.
