but i suppose well done on actually getting the tensioner that far off to get the extra length on the belt, to go the wrong side of the pully

unknown who did it, but whoever it was needs shooting!

the ribbed rubber belt had actually worn grooves into the metal idler! (you can see them in the pic just)

Surely the fact that its a smooth pulley would of be obvious what side it needs to go. Fair play mind getting it to fit like that, must of been a struggle

Unfortunately my car! God knows how long it's been like that though. I'm glad the drive to Fred was the first I have done in the car since I bought it!
