does any1 know where you fill up the washers that clean the headlights on a 172?

got hid lights and the washers worked on them when i got the car bout a month ago. filled the normal place and still nothing, it sounds like its trying to squirt water but nothing comes out!

172 Cups don't have H/light washers.
If yours has, it aint a Cup.

Those flat square things on the bumper below the lights......aren't washers. They are blanks.

It may well be a Cup with washers retro fitted, but if I was you I'd take them off again.
You buy a Cup for the weight save and tbh I think they are useless.
All they do is streak the bonnet and make you fill the bottle sooner.

Just means that someone has decided they wanted to have the washers on the car. (Pointless, but fair enough).

Anyway, they come from the same tank as the windscreen washer fluid.

Washers, clips, pipes, pumps. They f**k the centre of gravity. It's a well known fact.

Because you have all the parts from a normal 172. So either you don't have a Cup or someone has made yours into a normal 172..

You said it said it was a Cup. It obviously isn't and you can't just ask the DVLA to add stuff, so if it does......:S

You might want to check your insurance to.


If I was an assesor and turned up to that and you had it down as a cup i wouldn't pay.

Ok. The hoses have probably come off or there's a lump of snot stuck in the hose and you need to change your profile to 172.
