The BIG Chester meet

Though it deserved a dedicated, on topic thread..
So. Heres the basics:

When? - Saturday, 5th March. 11am

Where? - Meet at Root & Shoots garden centre CH3 5QD (by the roundabout), Chester.
Individual meeting points in the North West and Wales can be made as necessary via PM

Why? - Thanks to Ash's (v6clo's) hard work we may have a feature in PFC magazine. Along with all the the amatuer photogoraphy, in attandance will be a semi-pro videographer who is bound to get some awesome footage. SO BRING YOUR BEST POINT AND SHOOTS! Lets make this a meet to be proud of! NO RETAIL ESTATE CARPARK HERE BABY!
I will be attempting the write up. If there are any english/journalistic entusiasts attenting let me know. We can exchange drafts :cool:

What? - Meet, chat, drive out to N.Wales / Oulton park (yet to be deicided), pics, food. Stay as long as you have the time/petrol for.

yeh should be a great day and hope the weather is gonna be alright just had coilovers fitted on my car :rasp: love them and another 2 of my mates with clios are coming down with me aswell
 
Its nice to see ppl are coming from other areas! My gf lives in manchester so ill venture to the meets over there aswell!

I shall be attending :approve: Got a busy few weeks coming up but nothing planned for the 5th!

Oh and I'll make sure I clean the car for the PFC guys ;)

Don't worry mate there's no way that it's getting canceled. I carnt wait and now that it's all CONFIRMED with PFC MAG. Yay. It's going to be a ace day.
And you will be able to get PFC mag in WHS Smiths form the start of march again.

Was down your way actually today Ash, been to DT then into Chester and ate at the Egerton Arms before heading home.
Think I covered about 300 miles, did Burnley > Huddersfield > Wrexham > Chester > Burnley!! :eek:
 
update goin into work tomorrow tyo find out if i have been allowed the day off if i have i'm definately comin just wondering are there any other WHITE clios goin??????? let me know just interested :-)

Mate that is dedication I was ment to be off work today I had planed to come today how was the egerton arms did you all go.

Hi mate hope you can get the day andno you will be theonly ph2 in White!!!!
 
Egertons Arms was good, strangely quiet really. But there were nine of us in total and it came to just over £150 so not too bad!

It's nice there, just not too sure about some of the staff! :S

Shame you couldn't make it Ash!
 
mate u have just totally made me want to come now i may have to pull a sicky if i dont get it off lol is there a mag turning up????

thats odd its bin hard to get in there the last few weeks i guess it must have bin all the football people must have stayed in. thats not too bad £150 and your right about some of the staff they never seam that happy.

I ve bin talking to the editor david corfieldand he"s asked if we can sort it all out because its his sons birthday but i thnk they might come to the net big chester meet. so what we will do is take loads of photo pick the best send them to him along with a review.
I can feel a sick day comeing on you look abit white.
 
cool i'm defo comin to this one and any more that are local, and in my line of work any form of sickness or diarrhoea is instantly 48 hrs off lol i can feel it comin on slowly hehe

My boss has said I am a sad t**t as i have booked the friday off to give Clio a wash. :)

If my missus isn't working using the car I will come up sounds like a good day especially with the chance of getting in a mag.

Ash is your car park big enough mate! I am going to try and not work this day so i can come along, dont think i will be winning any prizes for cleanest car though, i dont have the time and aucky's was spotless last time
 
jon G i am coming from wythenshawe end mate if u fancy it i could meet u somewhere and go down in a little convoy mate u was at the last northwest meet at KK and then we went swinging bridge pub but u didnt have ur wheels on then mate :rasp:
 
My missus lives on brooklands road! Y have we never seen each other sean! Rute i live in elton which is rute next to the hapsford services on the m56! If u want ill join your little convoy with you! Let me know sean16v!
 
His names not on list, he lives in same village but never actually met him! Dont even know if he ia going!
